Salvador is an international tax advisor with + 25 years of professional experience, specializing in multinational groups, private clients and investors on complex cross-border tax matters.
He served as Global Planning and M&A Tax Director at Medtronic (Luxembourg) for over 10 years, leading international tax planning on a diverse range of restructuring matters across multiple jurisdictions, as well as mergers and acquisition transactions. He supported cross-border reorganizations, treasury center and financing structuring, divestitures, joint ventures and tax governance matters.
Prior to Medtronic, he spent nearly nine years with PwC Luxembourg, where he practiced as International Tax Director for the International Tax Structuring department, advising primarily U.S., European and Latin American multinational groups on Luxembourg holding, financing, private equity, intellectual property and cross-border tax matters. He also developed experience advising high-net-worth individuals and family-offices.
Earlier in his career, Salvador practiced litigation, corporate law, notary and tax law in Mexico over 7 years, advising clients on tax and private wealth matters.
He holds an Advanced LL.M. in European Law and International Taxation from Maastricht University (2006) and a cum laude law degree from Universidad de Monterrey (1999).
